Marine Corps Chair

Lieutenant General Mark A. Brilakis, USMC (ret), most recently serving as Commander, United States Marine Corps Forces Command, is the United States Marine Corps Program Chair for Aeyon’s Board of Advisors. As the Commander, Marine Forces Command, LtGen Brilakis was responsible for Active Component Service-retained operating forces; executing USMC force generation actions across the AC/RC Components in provisioning joint capable Marine Corps forces, and directing deployment planning and execution of Service-retained operating forces in support of Combatant Commander and Service requirements; and coincidently serving as Commanding General, Fleet Marine Forces Atlantic (CG FMFLANT) for embarked Marine Corps forces; coordinating Marine Corps-Navy integration of operational initiatives and advising Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFF) on issues related to Marine Corps forces assigned to U.S. Navy ships, bases, and installations; and conducting Service-directed operational tasks as required.

LtGen Brilakis’ other General Officer assignments included: Deputy Commandant for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, Commanding General of Marine Corps Recruiting Command, Director Programs Division and Assistant Deputy Commandant for Programs and Resources, Commanding General Third Marine Division, Commanding General, 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade and Assistant Commanding General III Marine Expeditionary Force, and Deputy J-3, U.S. European Command.
