Wreaths Across America
On Saturday, December 17, 2022, several members of our team joined Wreaths Across America to honor fallen veterans by placing wreaths on their graves at national cemeteries around the country. Our team members participated in events at Arlington National Cemetery, Beaufort National Cemetery in South Carolina, Jacksonville National Cemetery in North Carolina, and Wilmington National Cemetery in North Carolina. At Aeyon, we are committed to supporting initiatives like Wreaths Across America that allow us to give back to our community and pay tribute to those who have made sacrifices for our country. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Wreaths Across America event, and to all the veterans and active service members who have dedicated their lives to protecting our nation.
Operation Covert Santa
The Aeyon elves participated in the Service Member Support Foundation’s Operation Covert Santa this holiday season to bring joy to a service member undergoing trauma recovery and their family. The service member has four children and a wife undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Many people donated gifts from the family’s wish list and some even participated in a gift-wrapping event. All gifts were delivered to the organizers on December 10th. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort to bring cheer to this deserving family.
United Soldiers and Sailors of America (USASOA) Care Package and Food Drive Event
Volunteers raised and donated over $1,000 worth of items, such as toiletries and food, and packaged them into 60+ care packages for homeless veterans. Through coordination with USASOA, these care packages were tailored to meet current needs and distributed to homeless veterans in a time of increased need during the height of the pandemic. An additional $500 worth of items were directly donated to USASOA’s pantry.
Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) - Stuff the Pantry
Several individuals donated over 80 bulk items to stock the pantry of the RMHC’s Northern Virginia location that were delivered on or before families arrived on August 9, 2021. This amounted to several hundred snack and meal items for families as the location re-opened to families for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic. The team also sent letters to critically ill children in participation with RMHC.
Code of Support Foundation
Aeyon sponsors the Code of Support Foundation. The Code of Support Foundation changes lives by connecting military, veterans, caregivers, and families to the support they have earned through their service and sacrifice.

Justice Park Habitat Restoration Event
Aeyon celebrated Earth Day early by participating in the Justice Park Habitat Restoration Event in Falls Church, Virginia led by the Fairfax County Park Authority’s Invasive Management Area Program. On April 16, 2022, the Aeyon team, our family, and friends contributed to improving the park’s ecosystem. By donning gardening gloves and hand removing invasive English ivy, which is toxic if consumed by animals and threatens the survival of trees and other vegetation, volunteers helped save thousands of dollars in professional removal services.

Aeyon supported the Water for People Hike-a-thon in Rock Creek Park as a lunch sponsor, contributing boxed lunches for the hikers and direct support for Water for People. Water for People is a global nonprofit that helps people bring clean water and sanitation solutions to communities for generations to come. Hikers participated in a four mile socially distanced hike in Rock Creek Park which included several water and sanitation themed trivia check points where they were challenged on their knowledge of global clean water access, sanitation practices and more!
Stop Solider Suicide Vet Fest 5k Fundraiser
To help raise awareness of and reduce soldier suicide, Aeyon supported Stop Soldier Suicide with a fundraiser for their Vet Fest 5k race. Funds were raised during the month of September for Stop Soldier Suicide, and staff participated in the organization’s Vet Fest Virtual 5k. Every $30 raised funded an hour of personalized, trauma-informed care for veterans in need.
