Aeyon was excited to join the students from Sandburg Middle School at the Junior Achievement of Greater Washington’s Finance Park in Fairfax, VA. Team Aeyon shared their extensive personal and professional experiences as they worked closely with students to help navigate difficult budgeting and purchasing decisions as part of an immersive simulation in personal financial management. It was a fun and rewarding experience for everyone!

Employees across the country participated in the annual Wreaths Across America event by laying wreaths on the graves of our heroes and their loved ones. We paid our respects at Arlington National Cemetery, Beaufort National Cemetery, Fairview Cemetery, and New Bern National Cemetery. Over 100 lives were remembered and honored by Aeyon employees.

The Aeyon team in Huntsville, Alabama assembled and distributed 105 holiday meals to families at the Lincoln Village School. Aeyon donated the side dishes and desserts that were included in the meal bags. Other companies participating in the event provided ham and fresh fruit to complete the holiday meals.

Aeyon employees donated 171 toys for underprivileged children at the Aeyon Holiday Party in Vienna, VA. This event was a huge success. Thank you to the USMC volunteers were onsite to collect the toys on behalf of Toys for Tots.

Aeyon employees across the country donated over 2,400 items that were then assembled into 150 kits by volunteers at Aeyon headquarters. These kits were distributed to homeless Veterans in the DC area by USASOA to provide basic necessities including non-perishable meals, dental hygiene items, electrolyte packets, underwear and socks, as well as gloves, hats, and blankets to help keep warm as the cold weather settled in.

Hosted by Aeyon’s Women’s Networking Group, employees donated five donation bins worth of winter clothing and accessories to Women Giving Back, an organization that provides clothing to women and children in domestic abuse shelters, free of charge.

Aeyon Team members volunteered with USASOA for the third consecutive year in their Soup and Sandwich Saturdays. This year over a hundred sandwiches were made and distributed to homeless veterans living on the streets and elderly veterans experiencing food insecurity.

Aeyon held several events to raise money for America’s VetDogs, including a virtual Trivial Night, an in-person Yappy Hour Raffle, and a virtual Yappy Hour Raffle – all leading up to the 5k Dog Walk and Fun Run on July 29th. We had fun and met our goal of $6,000 for a Puppy Name Sponsorship. The Aeyon team voted and the winning name was Ace. We look forward to watching Ace grow through his training to become a guide dog for a Veteran in need.

Aeyon volunteers supported the Junior Achievement of Greater Washington’s Finance Park by engaging with 8th grade students from Luther Jackson Middle School as they participated in a simulation in personal financial management. By sharing personal and professional experience in financial management, Team Aeyon helped give these students perspective and knowledge that left them better prepared for managing their personal finances as they get older.

Aeyon attended the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 36th Annual Leikemia Ball. The event raised over $2 million from event sponsorships to live auctions and donations during the ball. A lot of the messaging centered around the research that they are doing to develop less toxic cancer treatments. Aeyon was proud to have contributed as a sponsor.

Aeyon supported Eco Action Arlington’s Park Cleanup by removing trash and debris from Jennie Dean Park and Four Mile Run in Arlington, Virginia in celebration of Earth Day.

Often an overlooked item, socks get lost and worn out just like they do at home, however access to new pairs are not always easily accessible when deployed overseas. Collection boxes were placed at Aeyon Headquarters and the Huntsville, Alabama offices to collect socks in support of an active-duty Army platoon that was deployed in Kuwait. Between both locations, nearly 50 pairs of socks were collected and shipped to the platoon.

In December 2022, our Aeyon team members in Huntsville, Alabama continued a 10 year long tradition by partnering with a local church group to purchase, assemble, and distribute a ham along with a blessing bag of non-perishable food to provide a complete meal for each family at Lincoln Village Ministry in the Lincoln community outside of Huntsville. Since 2002, Lincoln Village Ministry has been working to improve the area that was riddled with crime and poverty. They have restored the community by renovating homes, providing safe and affordable housing for families, and supported a holistic transformation to the area. In December 2022, our Aeyon team members in Huntsville, Alabama supported their local community for the third year in a row by donating board games to The Manna House’s Christmas event. Local families participating in the event were able select from with the idea being they could spend time together having a family game night. The Manna House is the food distribution program of the Huntsville Dream Center, serving those experiencing difficult times. On Saturday, December 17, 2022, several members of our team joined Wreaths Across America to honor fallen veterans by placing wreaths on their graves at national cemeteries around the country. Our team members participated in events at Arlington National Cemetery, Beaufort National Cemetery in South Carolina, Jacksonville National Cemetery in North Carolina, and Wilmington National Cemetery in North Carolina. At Aeyon, we are committed to supporting initiatives like Wreaths Across America that allow us to give back to our community and pay tribute to those who have made sacrifices for our country. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Wreaths Across America event, and to all the veterans and active service members who have dedicated their lives to protecting our nation.

The Aeyon elves participated in the Service Member Support Foundation’s Operation Covert Santa this holiday season to bring joy to a service member undergoing trauma recovery and their family. The service member has four children and a wife undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Many people donated gifts from the family’s wish list and some even participated in a gift-wrapping event. All gifts were delivered to the organizers on December 10th. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this effort to bring cheer to this deserving family.

Volunteers raised and donated over $1,000 worth of items, such as toiletries and food, and packaged them into 60+ care packages for homeless veterans. Through coordination with USASOA, these care packages were tailored to meet current needs and distributed to homeless veterans in a time of increased need during the height of the pandemic. An additional $500 worth of items were directly donated to USASOA’s pantry.

Aeyon sponsors the Code of Support Foundation. The Code of Support Foundation changes lives by connecting military, veterans, caregivers, and families to the support they have earned through their service and sacrifice.

Aeyon celebrated Earth Day early by participating in the Justice Park Habitat Restoration Event in Falls Church, Virginia led by the Fairfax County Park Authority’s Invasive Management Area Program. On April 16, 2022, the Aeyon team, our family, and friends contributed to improving the park’s ecosystem. By donning gardening gloves and hand removing invasive English ivy, which is toxic if consumed by animals and threatens the survival of trees and other vegetation, volunteers helped save thousands of dollars in professional removal services.

Aeyon is not only committed to our customer’s missions, we are also deeply committed to our communities. Being engaged in the world around us is a passion of ours. Aeyon is currently involved with helping over 20 organizations throughout the U.S. in different capacities. From donations, fundraising, and volunteering, Aeyon is devoted to giving back.

Aeyon is pleased to announce the continuation of legacy Sehlke Consulting’s scholarship program to support and encourage dependents of Aeyon employees enrolled at an accredited college or technical/trade school. These awards will be made for the 2022 – 2023 academic year in memory of Master Sergeant Scott E. Pruitt, who served as an instructor at the Marine Corps Combat Service Support School in North Carolina and served as a financial management Marine for 18 years on Marine and Naval bases around the world. MSgt Pruitt sacrificed his life for our Country while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan in 2012.

This March, Aeyon has invited all employees, friends, and family to support the Children’s National Hospital Virtual Storytime Program. Volunteers will record themselves reading a story which will be played for kids throughout the hospital.
