Nearly 60 Artlin family and friends participated in the Virtual 10th Annual Red Shoe 5K between Sunday, October 4 – Sunday, October 11, 2020. Employees walked and ran to raise money and awareness in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington, DC. While this year the event was held virtually, the purpose was the same as the past years – to give our community a way to come together (virtually), show support for, and make a positive impact on the families served by Ronald McDonald House Charities. RMHCDC helps families struggling with problems like how to stay near and support a hospitalized child, how to afford staying together in another city while a child is undergoing treatment, or even how to get basic medical care in a vulnerable community. This event raised over $130,000 to help families with sick children! On top of that, Artlin’s very own Timothy Rodriguez came in first place with a time of 19:25!!
