The problem
The client required insight into OSD support and response to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, the need for accurate, quick, and user-friendly reports was crucial to answer inquiries from Congress and various questions from senior leadership throughout the Federal government.
The solution
Aeyon developed a suite of COVID-19 reports within Procurement Business Intelligence Service (PBIS) leveraging various data sources like Federal Procurement Data System, Financial Assistance Award Data Collection, Other Transaction Authority (OTA), and Economic Development Administration data, which provided visibility and insight into Federal spending related to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, Artlin also was instrumental in setting up the automation of daily and weekly distributions to OSD, the Military Services, DoD Agencies, and the Office of the Inspector General so COVID-19 reports would be automatically set to their mailboxes every morning for consumption.
